❗️Revenge over a Porsche: former deputy head of the State Emergency Service Oleg Averianov ordered a hit on his ex-wife’s current husband — the blogger was to have his arms and legs shot and be doused with sulfuric acid, — media

📍The story goes back to the Porsche Cayenne that Averianov gave to his then-wife Yevheniia, and which he ordered the driver to take back during the divorce. In 2024 he was sentenced to 7 years in prison for car theft.

📍Yevheniia’s current husband is blogger Oleksandr Lesyk. He was already helping her with the Porsche case and gave testimony then. In 2018 Lesyk was attacked.

📍According to the attackers’ plan, the blogger was to have his limbs shot and be doused with sulfuric acid. The attempt was foiled.

📍Averianov also ordered bombs planted under the houses of the chairman and two other judges of the Chernihiv Court of Appeal — the very judges who handed down his sentence in the Porsche case.

📍The whole group was simultaneously preparing even more brutal acts: in Chernihiv they planned to blow up a construction crane so it would fall onto an apartment building and cars and cause mass casualties.

📍Another plan was to bomb a shopping center in the Precarpathian region. For that they had already made a bomb from plastid and electric detonators to be thrown through a window. The SBU substituted the perpetrators with its own people and simulated the explosion.

📍Also implicated in the case is Dmytro Nikitin — head of the Chernihiv regional branch of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland". He is abroad; he is linked to organizing and financing terror attacks and arsons in northern and western Ukraine.

📍Averianov also remains abroad. The suspects are planned to be declared internationally wanted.
