Threads is Pure Madness: Why Horokhovskyi’s Post Is Attracting Tens of Thousands of Comments

Threads is hot again. This time it all started with a post by co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky, who decided to celebrate reaching 400 thousand followers with a traditional giveaway.

One would think nothing new, but within a few hours tens of thousands of comments appeared on the post, and users began to mass-pile for likes.

Gorokhovsky announced that he would give away four iPhone 17e to his followers. To participate, you just need to leave a comment under the post, but there is a catch: only comments that receive at least 150 likes will make it to the final selection.

The requirement to gather at least 150 likes instantly changed the vibe under the post. Instead of ordinary comments, users started making jokes, writing funny stories, posting memes, and literally begging others to like them.

In a short time, tens of thousands of comments appeared under the post. Some of them earned hundreds, and some even thousands of likes.
