Booking and Departure for 10 Thousand Dollars: Former SEB Detective Oleh Yashchuk Mentioned in Case of “Fuel Tanker Drivers”

The Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv granted the applicants’ complaint and ordered law enforcement to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations (ERDR) and initiate an investigation into a possible scheme of fictitious employment of those liable for military conscription through LLC TRANSCOMGROUP.

According to the facts outlined in the application, men could have been registered as drivers and logisticians without actually performing work. Instead, they were supposedly provided with reservations against mobilization and the opportunity to travel abroad.

The cost of such "employment," according to sources, could have been $10 thousand hryvnias, after which clients allegedly had to make monthly payments to maintain the respective status.

Among possible participants in the scheme, the applicants name former BEE detective Oleg Yashchuk. In the declaration for 2025 year, he stated more than 120 thousand hryvnias in salary from LLC TRANSCOMGROUP. At the same time, according to the applicants, he did not have the necessary specialized experience or clearances for transporting hazardous goods.

Separately in the application, there are mentions of possible connections of Yashchuk with fraudulent call centers, cryptocurrency operations, and withdrawal of funds through a network of fictitious companies.

All of these circumstances now need to be checked by law enforcement. At the same time, the mere existence of a criminal case does not prove the allegations.

If the facts presented in the application are confirmed, this would be a possible scheme in which fictitious employment was used to obtain reservations and the ability for men to travel abroad during a state of martial law.
