NAPC has opened an audit of Medvedchuk’s declarations after monitoring his lifestyle

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention has begun checking 40 declarations of public officials, including 10 members of parliament and 16 members of local councils.

This became known from an NAPC statement.

Since the beginning of 2021 year, NAPC has taken into audit already 897 declarations of public officials.

Over the past week, the grounds for initiating declaration audits were:

results of lifestyle monitoring conducted: NAPC determined that the declarant’s lifestyle does not correspond to his income;

the declarant’s high position (a clear list of positions is defined in the Order of Priority);

a significant number of risks identified in the declaration as a result of automatic analysis;

statements from citizens, media, or law enforcement agencies to NAPC about false data in an official’s declaration.

Based on the lifestyle monitoring conducted, NAPC has opened audits of the declarations of the following persons:

1. Viktor Volodymyrovych Medvedchuk, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament

2. Mykhailo Volodymyrovych Burdeinyi, head of the department of the Volyn customs of the State Customs Service

3. Olena Anatoliivna Dudka, head of the sector for infrastructure issues, implementation of digitalization and digital transformation of Velykooleksandrivka District State Administration, Kherson region

By position (order of priority), NAPC has taken into audit the declarations of the following members of parliament:

1. Mykola Oleksiyovych Stefanchuk, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

2. Natalia Romanivna Pipa, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

3. Oleh Romanovych Marusiak, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

4. Vadym Olehhovych Strunevych, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

5. Liudmyla Anatoliivna Buymister, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

6. Serhii Volodymyrovych Kuzminykh, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament;

7. Ihor Fedorovych Molotok, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament

8. Ivanna Orestivna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament

In addition, based on the results of automatic risk analysis in declarations, an audit has been initiated of the declaration of MP Ivan Chaikivskyi, as well as of a number of officials at various levels and members of local councils.
