The Office of the President wants to change the prime minister Denis Shmyhal. This was told to the media by sources close to Bankova.

"Shmyhal is going to be ousted. Firstly, blame the tariff problems and other slip-ups on him. Secondly, there is a desire from the Americans to form a new 'government of reformers'. And Zelenskiy wants to show that this desire is being fulfilled," a source said.

The main candidates that are currently being considered are as follows.

1. Head of Naftogaz Andriy Kobolyev. He is held in particularly high regard by the Americans.

2. Yuriy Vitrenko, if he can still be pushed through the Verkhovna Rada as the first deputy prime minister. In that case he would lead the government as acting prime minister. Especially since after the resignation of the previous government, it is not certain that the new one can be formed quickly.

In Bankova they are already trying to 'sell' him to Washington as a reformer, however, judging by the fact that the 'Sorosites' did not vote for Vitrenko's candidacy, the Americans trust Kobolov more.

3. Head of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko.

A whole multi-move plan is brewing around him.

First Deputy Head of the NBU Kateryna Rozhko (with whom Shevchenko previously had a long conflict during which Rozhkova was nearly fired) has established close contact with Bankova and actively supports Yurmak and Zelensky in conversations at the American Embassy.

For this, she is supposed to become head of the National Bank, and Shevchenko to be moved to another position. For example, as prime minister.

4. Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov. Before that he was governor of Kyiv region.

Chernyshov is an entrepreneur and top manager from Kharkiv. For a long time he worked in the structures of the current MP from OPZZh and owner of the Barabashovo market Feldman. He is a co-owner of the Furshit supermarket chain.

At the time of his appointment as governor he was linked either to Kolomoyskyi or to influential Kharkiv businessman Pavlo Fuksv.

5. Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko. He is one of the president Zelensky's favorites.

At the same time, the casting is actively continuing, and the question of Shmyhal's resignation has not been finally decided. In the near future other candidates for this post may appear.
