Who Joined Groysman's Party

A list of candidates for people's deputies who joined the party “Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman” has appeared on the CEC website.

Groysman's party can be called a “party of ministers,” since its top ten includes current ministers of Ukraine.

Among the candidates listed is Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Mykhailivna Hrynyevych.

Yesterday she reported on her unsuccessful trip to Lviv. She was not allowed into one of the schools; she explained this by saying that Ms. Hrynyevych must provide a letter and obtain the mayor’s permission to inspect the implementation of reforms.

Also among the candidates is Yevhen Mykolayovych Nyshchuk. Last August he received an instruction from the NACP because he did not resolve a potential conflict of interest involving the general director of a museum, Ivan Kovalchuk, who works together with his wife.

It is worth mentioning Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Dmytrovych Petrenko.

“The main customer and organizer of the raider takeover was named as deputy Serhiy Pashynskyi. His business partner Serhiy Tyshchenko allegedly demanded $10 million from the factory owner Ihor Boyko. When the owner refused, the Ministry of Justice removed the enterprise from the Unified State Register and appointed a new director.

Pavlo Petrenko’s name is also mentioned in the case of the raider takeover of the Ukrainian National Lottery. UNL’s general director Andriy Bochkovskyi learned that someone had made changes in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs. The new owner became Swiss citizen Peter Shetty. The changes were made based on the decision of the Korolyov District Court of Zhytomyr.”
