Zaluzhnyi, Budanov and other generals discussed the needs of the Armed Forces with colleagues from the United States and Britain

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi, together with the head of the State Spy Service Kyrylo Budanov and other generals, discussed the needs of Ukrainian troops and the front-line situation with American and British partners.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Also present were the Commander of the Naval Forces Oleksiy Neijepapa and Deputy Commander-in-Chief General Mykhailo Zabrodsky.

The partners were detailed on the operational situation across the entire front.

They also heard from the commanders and discussed the issues that have arisen in the troop groups. In particular, Zaluzhnyi presented our view of the development of events on the front.

“We discussed the Ukrainian army's need for shells, weapons, and military equipment. We are waiting for good news,” wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

The allies also focused on issues of strengthening Ukraine's air defense, additional transport for evacuation of the wounded, finding ways to repair equipment, and restoring the combat readiness of military units.

A separate topic was the situation in the Black Sea.

Zaluzhnyi thanked the allies for productive work and support in the fight against the Russian aggressor.

It should be noted that the negotiations took place on the eve of the Ramstein-format meeting, which will be held in 19 September. At it, Ukraine will be represented for the first time by the new Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.

One of the key topics of the new meeting will be Ukraine's urgent needs. At it, they are to assess the immediate needs of the Armed Forces and announce the results achieved.

Military experts believe that the urgent need for Ukraine now is air defense capabilities, artillery, demining equipment, and equipment to counter Russian electronic warfare systems.
