What will happen if you do not choose a doctor: Groysman explains

The essence of the contract is that the state will pay the doctor for treating a specific person. The campaign that began 1 in April will not end 1 in May.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, during the question hour to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, 6 in April, stated: “The domestic health care system has been brought to a hand, so today something must change. I emphasize that the campaign to choose a doctor started 1 in April. This does not mean that it should end 1 in May. It does not end. If a person has not chosen a doctor, they will receive medical services where they do today. There is no need for anyone to stand in any queues. There is no need for anyone to travel somewhere on purpose. If there is such an opportunity, people will enter into a contract and this will be the end of it.”

Groysman added: “There are two choices. The first is to leave everything as it is, but it has been that way before us. The other choice, which I espouse, is to try to unite and do something about this issue. How long can we stand at the podium and say that people live poorly. Let’s finally do something so that people live better. There are no simple solutions to such complex issues.”

Also, according to the prime minister, the essence of the contract is that the state will pay the doctor for treating a specific person.

At the same time, answering the question of deputy Serhiy Shakhov about when the health minister will be appointed, whose children will live in Ukraine, Groysman stated: “Ulana Sukhrun can afford to live in any country in the world. She has enough resources. But she came to help the wounded in Maidan.”
