The seller — archbishop of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Oleksandr Drabinko — certified in the document that the price of sale stated there was favorable for him.
At the same time, we analyzed real estate listing sites. It turned out that houses near the Botanical Garden of similar size cost about 50–60 million hryvnias.

We reached out for explanations to both the seller of the manor, Mr. Drabinko, and to the MP Pavlo Kalimon, and to Anastasia Koteleneets.
Having heard the questions, both Kalimon and Koteleneets hung up the phone.
Oleksandr Drabinko commented on the circumstances of the sale:
"Yes, the house was indeed sold. The sale was handled by my brother through a real estate agent. I was not interested in whom they sold to; I have not used it since 2013 year, and it really had to be sold for a significantly reduced price because no one offered what was being asked for it for various reasons. There is construction around it, and what could have been asked 10 years ago, no one offered."
