Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman condemns the behavior of Member of Parliament Volodymyr Parasiuk and believes he should be stripped of immunity and held accountable.

He expressed this view at a meeting with veterans of the Azovstal plant as part of a working trip to the city of Mariupol, answering citizens' questions about why Parasiuk is still a member of parliament, reports a Ukrinform correspondent.

"It's a great shame when a person entrusted by the state allows themselves such behavior. I want to say that there is weakness here, including of the law enforcement system," Groysman said.

He noted that the Verkhovna Rada can lift Parasiuk's parliamentary immunity, but if such matters were decided by the government and the prime minister, they would have been resolved long ago.
