The incident with security forces in the Verkhovna Rada will backfire on Poroshenko, – Leshchenko

The presence of servicemen and police in the session hall is an unprecedented phenomenon and will backfire on the president and his entourage.

This was stated by People's Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko.

He expressed deep astonishment at what happened today in the Verkhovna Rada. In his view, the BPP faction and the "People's Front" acted illegally, bringing people in camouflage into the session and thereby creating a dangerous precedent.

If Parasyuk is to be blamed, it should be done in accordance with the law. And here, under the guise of "lawlessness," outsiders were brought in. Now no one knows how this will end, because we have various political forces that influence armed formations in this country, – said Leshchenko.

Serhiy Leshchenko also noted that Ihor Kononenko, who is close to the president, facilitated the intrusion of camouflaged people into the Verkhovna Rada session hall.

Recall that in the morning, people in uniform entered the parliamentary session hall. They allegedly came to explain from the podium the police position regarding the conflict with Volodymyr Parasyuk near Sloviansk. The Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Oksana Syroyed, less than an hour after the start of the morning session, declared it closed.
