Ukrposhta installs parcel lockers across Ukraine, except in one major city

Ukrposhta, as of 2 September, has installed over 500 internal post offices in its branches across the country. Ukrposhta postomats can now be seen in branches in all regions, except Kherson. The company continues to purchase new devices due to high demand from customers. There are no additional charges for using such terminals.

This was written in Ukrposhta's Telegram channel by the CEO, Ihor Smilyanskyi. According to him, the project “Internal Post Offices” has become popular not only among customers but also among the company’s employees.

“So now our yellow internal post offices can be seen in ALL (except for now Kherson) regions of Ukraine in the busiest branches. We have already installed over 500 units (506, to be precise), but given the popularity, we are purchasing more and will install more,” Ihor Smilyanskyi wrote in his Telegram channel.

The head of Ukrposhta reminded that only already paid-for parcels can be stored in the post offices. He also spoke about the next stage of network development:

outdoor postomats are already in the process of installation;

soon their number will noticeably grow across the country;

HOAs that want to get a Ukrposhta postomat near their building can apply on the Ukrposhta website;

customers can expect the company not only in branches but also directly near the terminals.

“And those who have HOA and want to have a Ukrposhta postomat nearby - fill out the application, and perhaps Ukrposhta will become much closer for you,” Ihor Smilyanskyi wrote in his Telegram channel.

Ukrposhta expanded its self-service network nationwide.

Internal postomats in branches allow customers to receive paid-for parcels themselves without queuing, in just a few seconds. This format relieves operators in branches and reduces waiting time for other customers who come for other services.

At the same time, the company is developing the street terminal network, focusing primarily on densely populated residential complexes in large cities. This will allow residents to receive parcels without being tied to branch hours.

Earlier Informator reported that Ukrposhta offers HOA to install a postomat near their building as part of launching the production and installation of 1000 new outdoor terminals across Ukraine.
