"Prosecutor's Button" at Sense Bank: How Former Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Storozhuk Installed Kharkiv Prosecutor Danylichenko as the State Bank's Security Chief

At "Sense Bank" after nationalization they changed more than the sign — they changed who decides which client is a “risk” and which one gets approved. The current head of security is called Danylichenko by banking and prosecutorial circles, a former prosecutor of Kharkiv region. He was installed on the recommendation of Dmytro Anatoliyovych Storozhuk.

Storozhuk was first deputy prosecutor general in 2016–2019 years, and from 2019 to 2023 he was an advisor to the chairman of the board of Oschadbank, Andriy Pyshnyi. From there comes the whole arrangement: the security of the state-owned Sense is a creature of the head of the National Bank. And if the bank's security holds a button over clients, then gaming acquiring and P2P in that logic are no longer a “market service.” That becomes Pyshnyi's sphere of interest.

This is exactly why the blows by Danylo Hetmantsev and David Arakhamia at Sense and the simultaneous attack on Pyshnyi are not two separate bursts of morality. They are links in one strategy. Hetmantsev has been repeating for years: the licensed game was driven into a state bank, tariffs are set too low, the army receives less. In the "Forrest Gump" transcripts Arakhamia sounds like “David,” who allegedly offered the bank protection instead of "taking them out." Both are hitting the same wall — the bank and the head of the regulator who, after nationalization, was supposed to hold the institution in a death grip.

Danylichenko's predecessor is named Dovzhenets — an active SBU officer who was in charge of Sense's security until the rotation. He was removed at the insistence of then-deputy head of the Service, Serhiy Naumiuk. In this map Naumiuk is portrayed as Arakhamia's creature inside the SBU. Zelensky dismissed him on 5 January 2026 together with other deputies. Dovzhenets belonged to a different group, but he suited everyone — until Mindychgate exploded. After the recordings, Halushchenko's bail, and NABU entering Sense's headquarters, the “neutral” figure became superfluous. They needed their own button.

In June 2026 it is alleged by the investigation that about 150 million hryvnias in cash were run through Sense as collateral for Herman Halushchenko. The chairman of the board, Oleksii Stupak, was released by the High Anti-Corruption Court under 15 million. Mykola Hladyshenko was removed from the supervisory board. Oleksandr Snihur was suspended after the phrase “the girl will press it.” Iryna Mudraia, whom Hetmantsev explicitly calls Pyshnyi's person dating back to Oschadbank, told Stupak on 10 June that the bank would be taken for legalization. Roman Vesely, as the "watcher," entered the NBU's supervisory unit twice. The regulator reported six financial monitoring inspections, one hundred committee decisions, a 21 letter to law enforcement, and 52 million hryvnias in fines. Hetmantsev answers briefly: they inspected — but didn’t close the “route.” On the tapes Mikitas says almost the same thing.

Here personnel and the case converge. Storozhuk brought Danylichenko from Pyshnyi's Oschad contour — and the state bank's security department after Mindych ended up in a vertical that simultaneously sits in the NBU and in the gaming flow. Dovzhenets was removed through Naumiuk — which means the previous button belonged to another group that Hetmantsev and Arakhamia are now publicly fighting. While Mindych was the "watcher," both groups could tolerate an outsider security chief. When Mindych fell, they began to divide the bank.

Pyshnyi ran Oschad when Storozhuk was his advisor. Pyshnyi now runs the NBU, which should have been monitoring the cash at Sense. Hetmantsev and Arakhamia are striking the bank and Pyshnyi in sync. Naumiuk is no longer in the SBU. Mindych is out of the country. The security button of the state bank is in the hands of a person from the Kharkiv prosecutor's office, who was placed there by a prosecutorial figure from the Oschad team. After "Forrest Gump" there is one question: who pressed it when 150 million needed to be passed — and who will need this button next.
