Vyacheslav Sumskyi was a People's Artist of Ukraine, a well-known actor, and the father of Nataliya and Olha Sumskyi. Today, 6 September, he could have celebrated his 92-th birthday.

On this occasion, Telegraf decided to show what the People's Artist's grave looks like. Olha Sumskyi has repeatedly shared shots from Baikove Cemetery on social media.

Vyacheslav Sumskyi was born on 6 September 1934 in the village of Verbliuzhka in Kirovohrad region. He graduated from the Kyiv Theatre Institute in 1956. From 1956 to 1966 he served at the Lviv Ukrainian Drama Theater named after M. Zankovetska, where he met his future wife, theater actress Hanna Opanasenko — the mother of Nataliya and Olha.

He made his debut in 1982 with a bit part in the film "Kozacha zastava." In 1991 he played a barker in the film "Narodnyi Malakhii," in 1993 he played an agronomist in "The Garden of Gethsemane," and in 2005 he played an operative in "Bankirshy." From 1993 until his death he was an actor at the Franko Kyiv Ukrainian Drama Theater.

Vyacheslav Sumskyi passed away on 12 September 2007. It is known that the actor suffered from cancer. At Baikove Cemetery he rests beside his wife Hanna. Olha Sumskyi also shared photos of the relative's monument.
