Senator McCain Held a Meeting with NSDC Secretary Kluev - DT

American Senator John McCain, who is on a visit to Ukraine, held a meeting with NSDC Secretary Andriy Kluev, reports ZN.UA, citing a source.

According to the source, the meeting, which took place at the NSDC building on Kameneva Street, lasted 40 minutes. Details of the conversation are not yet known.

As a reminder, Ukrainian Pravda has obtained new documents in the case of the Euromaidan dispersal investigation 30 in November.

According to the publication, these are the interrogation protocols of the NSDC's First Secretary Volodymyr Sivkovych and Kyiv City State Administration head Oleksandr Popov. The protocols state that Popov and Koryak acted on instructions from Kluev through his deputy on the night of the Euromaidan dispersal.

Earlier on the Internet, copies of allegedly the interrogation protocols of Oleksandr Popov, Volodymyr Sivkovych, and Valeriy Koryak appeared. Scans of the documents preliminarily confirm the version voiced by some media - the Kyiv mayor pointed to NSDC Secretary Andriy Kluev as the initiator of clearing Maidan Neza lezhnosti 30 in November.

On Saturday, 14 December, two officials were relieved of their posts - Kyiv City State Administration head Oleksandr Popov and NSDC deputy head Volodymyr Sivkovych.

Both were suspended by presidential decree of Viktor Yanukovych for the duration of the investigation into the dispersal of Euromaidan 30 in November.

On the same day, media reported that the former Kyiv mayor had already begun giving testimony at the General Prosecutor's Office. In particular, he stated that the assignment to 'set up the Christmas tree' was received from NSDC Secretary Andriy Kluev.
