VAKS detained Kropyva’s relative in the “Carthage” case: bail 15 million hryvnias

The High Anti-Corruption Court chose pretrial restraint in the form of detention for lawyer Oleksandr Didych, whom the investigation considers to be a trusted associate of Kropyva. The court also set the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 15 million UAH.

This is stated in the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

According to the investigation, Didych was a trusted associate of Kropyva. In addition, his wife is the sister of Kropyva’s “Chancellor.”

The decision was made by investigative judge Ihor Strohyi. The court partially granted the detective’s motion and applied pretrial detention to Didych.

If bail is posted, the lawyer will be subject to a number of procedural obligations. These include surrendering passports for traveling abroad and refraining from communicating with certain individuals, in particular Kravchenko.

Didych is suspected of committing 2 especially grave crimes — participation in a criminal organization and legalization of assets.

According to the investigation’s version, the lawyer concealed Kropyva’s ownership of property. To do this, investigators claim, property was re-registered from close persons to other close persons of "Kamrad" Kutsyi, who is at the same time Kropyva’s driver.
