Stselnikov said he killed Parubiy because his mobilized son died at the front

Mykhailo Stselnikov, who is accused of murdering Andriy Parubiy, said that his motive was revenge for his son, who was mobilized and who died at the front.

During questioning, Stselnikov was also asked what exactly Parubiy had done to him personally.

“He is a representative of the authorities. Our authorities bear no responsibility… Something needs to be done so that these authorities are held accountable. A person in power since 2014 year, five years as Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, almost the head of state. Should he bear responsibility for his actions? He should. So he did,” the defendant replied.
