Known prize amounts for Ukrainian track and field athletes at the Absolute World Championship

The prize money for Ukrainian track and field athletes at the Absolute World Championship has become known. This is reported by Glavkom.

Yaroslava Mahuchikh jumped 1.99 meters and finished first. Following her, Australian Nicola Olslagers placed second. Iryna Herashchenko (1,91 meters) and Yulia Levchenko (1,86 meters) placed fifth and sixth respectively.

Bronze in the hammer throw was earned by Mykhailo Kokhan with a mark of 78,9 meters. Gold and silver went to Merlin Hemmell and Bence Hallas respectively.

Prize money for Ukrainian athletes:

Yaroslava Mahuchikh – 150 thousand euros

Mykhailo Kokhan – 40 thousand euros

Iryna Herashchenko – 16 thousand euros

Yulia Levchenko – 14 thousand euros

For what it's worth, Yaroslava Mahuchikh commented on the return of Russians and Belarusians to international competitions.

As a reminder, earlier Mykhailo Kokhan won a silver medal at competitions in Italy.
