Russia attacked railway infrastructure in Lutsk and Fastiv

Russian forces attacked railway infrastructure in Lutsk and Fastiv. Thanks to early detection of the threat, passengers were evacuated, so there are no casualties. The attack may cause changes to train schedules.

The company reported strikes in Lutsk and Fastiv.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s monitoring team detected the threat in advance, after

which passengers were evacuated to safe locations.

As of Ukrzaliznytsia’s report, the attack was ongoing, with

numerous strike drones in the airspace.

Due to the security situation, railway workers do not rule out

operational changes to schedules. Passengers are advised to check the current status

of their trains before traveling.

There is currently no information on the extent of damage to the railway

infrastructure in Lutsk and Fastiv.

Recall, 8 September Russia also attacked the Kyiv–Sumy passenger train. The train was

stopped in advance after a warning from Ukrzaliznytsia’s monitoring team, and

passengers were evacuated, so there were no casualties.
