Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Budanov predicted that a new round of negotiations on the war in Ukraine in a trilateral format could take place in October.

"We're preparing. For October," Budanov said in response to reporters' questions on the sidelines of the YES meeting in Kyiv, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

He added that he believes the parties will find a solution that will stop the war.

At the same time, Budanov added that the American side did not present radically new ideas about negotiations during its visit to Kyiv. The head of the Presidential Office also believes that drone attacks on gas stations and businesses will continue until the elections in the Russian Federation.

"It will be as harsh as possible until the elections. We'll see after that, but they will continue nonetheless," Budanov concluded.

Russia also said it is ready for negotiations in a trilateral format, while Russian occupiers do not intend to stop attacks for the duration of the negotiation process.

President Volodymyr Zelensky also said he is ready to meet with the Russian dictator Putin on the sidelines of the G20 summit. According to him, a ceasefire on energy and grain could be the first step toward any negotiations.
