Russia’s missile terror has halted traffic and navigation in the Black Sea - Sibiga

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that this harms global food security.

Russia is increasing attacks on Ukraine’s port infrastructure and civilian ships and has already halted traffic in the Black Sea, which harms global food security.

This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga at a joint briefing in Kyiv with Poland’s Foreign Minister Radislav Sikorski, reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

"Separately we discussed the situation in the Black Sea, where Russia in recent times has been increasing attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure, civilian ships, and sea routes. It is even not escalating… – Russia halted sea traffic and navigation in the Black Sea with its missile terror, and this also undermines global food security," he said.

Sibiga stressed the importance of joint cooperation with Poland to restore freedom of navigation in the Black Sea. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also thanked the European Union for the restoration of the "Corridors of Solidarity."
