“Energoatom” Ordered Croatian System to Inspect Reactor Vessel Metal for 482

Public Joint-Stock Company Ukrinform? (Energy Atom) 11 in September, as a result of a tender, ordered to the company “INETEC – Institute for Nuclear Technology Ltd.” (Croatia) a system for inspecting the reactor vessel metal worth 9,34 million euros, or 482,15 million hryvnias. This is reported in the ProZorro system.

By 30 July 2027 of the year the manufacturer must supply one reactor vessel metal control system from the inside of the LANCER I. This is the only integrated complex of electromechanical elements (manipulator), control computer devices with software, methodological documentation for inspection, samples, and means of transport and storage. It includes:

manipulator;

manipulator control subsystem;

submerged television subsystem to enable control of the manipulator;

ultrasonic testing subsystem;

eddy current testing subsystem;

visual inspection subsystem;

subsystem for visual inspection of internal reactor components;

assembly products, spare parts, materials, auxiliary mechanisms and tools.

Radiation-resistant cameras as part of the complex will be produced by Visatec (Germany).

In addition, the manufacturer must provide the following ancillary services: special personnel training for the customer, acceptance tests, participation in incoming inspection, installation, commissioning, and quality assurance of system operation, technical support during the first system-wide inspection.

The contract provides for an advance 30% under a bank guarantee or return certificate, payment 65% within 50 days after delivery of the system and 5% within 30 days after delivery of test samples. The warranty period is two years or two reactor vessel inspections with the system.

The company received the order without competition because it was the only one to submit to the open tender. To participate, a similar contract for supplying a reactor-vessel metal-control system from the inside was required. The company cited a contract with Energoatom from 2007 year.

Annual revenue was to be no less than 241,08 million hryvnias. Bid security – 4,82 million hryvnias.

When evaluating tender proposals, the customer used a non-price criterion “Participant status as the producer of the goods offered for delivery” with a weight of 20%. The participant received 20% if they were the manufacturer, or 0% if not. The company is the manufacturer.

“INETEC” is owned by Dusko Chorak and Zrinka Chorak. Since 2016 year the company has received orders from Energoatom for spare parts to reactor vessel control systems for 46,94 million hryvnias.
