Zelensky Negotiated with Trump a Meeting in New York

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, has arranged a meeting with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, in New York. As reported by Glavkom, the head of state said that he had an important conversation with the U.S. president and that they discussed many things.

“We agreed to meet in New York, and this meeting could change a lot. The diplomatic dynamics are there,” Zelenskiy noted.

The Ukrainian president also thanked Steve Bittkoff and Jared Kushner for their visit to Kyiv.

“We went through the substantive details well, and the guys saw the situation in Ukraine. The peace track is the number one priority. There are ideas about de-escalation steps and fundamental security issues—energy, food, and life protection. We are working together with the American team and are ready to take really serious steps,” said the head of state.

In addition, Zelenskiy thanked the President of America for signing the Lindsey Graham law.

Earlier, former Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, Oksana Stefanishina, spoke about the nicknames that American negotiators Jared Kushner and Steve Bittkoff have received in Russian political circles. According to her, Russians call the representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump “Son-in-law” and “Vytok.”

Bittkoff and Kushner first arrived in Ukraine 6 in September. Their visit occurred the day after negotiations in Moscow, where Trump’s representatives spoke with Putin for more than three hours.

As a reminder, after the negotiations, Bittkoff stated there was “significant progress” and reported progress in planning additional trilateral talks. Kushner, in turn, stated that Trump instructed his representatives to formulate a package of proposals to end the war.
