Russian drones struck near an apartment building in Sumy: one killed and one wounded

In the evening of 20 September, Russian drones attacked Sumy. Two unmanned aerial vehicles struck near a multi-family residential building. As a result of the attack, a woman was killed, and her 41-year-old husband suffered multiple shrapnel wounds. The building and five cars were also damaged.

Drone attack on Sumy

According to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, two enemy drones struck near a multi-family residential building in Sumy. A civilian woman was killed as a result of the attack.

Her 41-year-old husband sustained multiple shrapnel wounds. The injured man was taken to the hospital, where doctors are providing necessary care.

What was damaged as a result of the strike

The impacts damaged a multi-family residential building. Five cars were also damaged.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the information about the consequences of the attack.

As Novyny.LIVE wrote, two people were killed in a Russian strike on Sumy, and their seven-year-old son ended up in intensive care. In the attack, another 10 people were affected, including three children.

Sumy region also suffered massive Russian attacks, resulting in three people killed. Another 15 people were wounded or injured, and 26 populated localities in the region came under strikes during the day.
