In Odesa a storm is sweeping everything away on its path

During the day 21 September, bad weather swept over Odesa. Heavy rain and wind literally tore everything away in its path. City residents were advised not to go outside unless necessary. Relevant videos and photos are published in local communities.

It is noted that parts of Odesa were severely flooded — streets literally turned into rivers. And the strong wind even blows away trash cans.

30 September 2025 year, a downpour in Odesa lasted more than 12 hours. As a result of the disaster, almost 700 houses were flooded, and the casualties of the storm were 10 people.

4 October 2025 year, Odesa was again struck by a heavy rain, as a result of which new floods began in the city.

28 October 2025 year, the former mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, was reported to face suspicion of official negligence in the evening of 28 October. Suspicions were also raised against eight other Odesa officials.
