An ultrasound room opened in Sviatopetrivske

An ultrasound diagnostics room began operating at the Sviatopetrivske General Practice — Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic No. 2 in the Bilohorodka community. This is the second such room in the community. The ultrasound device, valued at more than 850 thousand hryvnias, was received by the medical facility as a charitable donation.

KV learned about this from a statement by Bilohorodka rural mayor Anton Ovsiienko.

“Even more medical services close to home. An ultrasound diagnostics room now operates at the Sviatopetrivske General Practice — Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic No. 2,” the post reads.

According to the report, previously ultrasounds in the Bilohorodka community could only be done at the Bilohorodka General Practice — Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic.

From now on, abdominal organ, kidney, and thyroid ultrasounds can also be performed in Sviatopetrivske.

To staff the new room, family physician and ultrasound diagnostics doctor Yuliia Karpova completed the appropriate specialization.

Services will be provided within the paid services department. According to the mayor, the cost of examinations will be lower than at private clinics.

At the same time, residents of the Bilohorodka community who belong to designated privileged categories will be able to receive examinations free of charge twice a year under the financial support program of the municipal non-profit enterprise for the years 2026–2028.

To qualify, you must be registered with a family doctor of the Bilohorodka community, have registration in the community, and provide a document confirming entitlement to the benefit.

It was also noted that the community received the ultrasound device from Delivery Medical LLC as a charitable donation. The equipment’s value exceeds 850 thousand hryvnias, and it was handed over to the medical facility free of charge.

“The most important thing is that our residents will feel the impact of this support — the necessary examination can now be done closer to home,” Anton Ovsiienko emphasized.

The ultrasound rooms at Sviatopetrivske GP-FM Outpatient Clinic No. 2 and the Bilohorodka GP-FM Outpatient Clinic are already operating. Appointments are made through the call center at: 044 29-00-68.

“The more services we can provide directly in the community, the more convenient it is for our people,” Anton Ovsiienko concluded.

Recall that, as KV previously reported, the Bilohorodka community received a shipment of nine new industrial generators with a total value of more than 4,8 million hryvnias. The equipment was provided by international donors to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure and the provision of services to the population during possible power outages.
