A territorial administration of the Bureau of Economic Security appeared in Dnipropetrovsk region

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a territorial administration of the Bureau of Economic Security has appeared, the head of the BES Oleksandr Tsvynskyi reported. They have already appointed a temporary acting head of BES in Dnipropetrovsk region.

“We registered the BES territorial administration as a legal entity in the Dnipropetrovsk region and appointed Rimán Stavinsky as the acting head of the territorial administration… Our task is to assemble a strong team and ensure its work. Because simply having the record in the register will not stop any scheme. It will be done by people who know the region, hear honest business, and bring cases to a result,” Tsvynskyi said.

According to data on the BES website, Roman Stavinsky works in the BES central apparatus. He holds the position of deputy head of the department — head of the planning and financial support unit of the Finance Department.

Tsvynskyi also added that a competition has been opened for the position of deputy head of the BES territorial administration in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Tsvynskyi noted that Dnipropetrovsk region is one of Ukraine’s major centers, with powerful industry, large business, export and import, and enterprises that fill the state budget. Therefore the presence of the BES administration in this region means protecting the economy and the state’s stability.

The state has tasked the BES with finding 60 billions in the shadow economy. But the bureau is funded at 18% of its needs, has three times fewer people than the law provides, and is still deprived of authorities that are used by NABU, DBR, and SBU.
