"Ukrposhta" changes the order of work for city branches

City branches of JSC Ukrposhta will primarily process parcels for reception and issuance. This was announced in Telegram by the company's CEO Ihor Smylianskyi.

"Ukrposhta" changes the order of work for city branches. Receiving parcels takes first priority, i.e., parcels are accepted out of line. The next priority is the issuance of parcels, which are also issued out of line," the message says.

From today, more than 90% of city branches, which have more than one service window, have received the corresponding instructions, and the “Express window” will operate exactly in this mode.

Smylianskyi explained this by the fact that during constant alarms the work of branches may be reduced, so in order for shipments to reach sorting centers on time, the stated decision was made.

He emphasized that recipients of financial services – pensions, payments, and others – will be served during the working day of the branch, which is impossible to do in case of delays in sending or issuing a parcel.

The head of Ukrposhta announced the next step: the launch of self-service stations and an increase in the number of postomats.

Regarding the rules of operation during the “yellow” and “red” alarms — they remain unchanged for now, and Ukrposhta is preparing proposals to take into account the peculiarities of work for the national postal operator in the winter period.

Earlier, JSC Ukrposhta announced that it would deliver marriage certificates of Ukrainians to countries of Europe and the world within the service “Marriage online 2.0.” The service is planned to cover 48 countries of Europe and the world.
