“Investor” from Batkalov’s Telethon Promotes KIT Group after NBU Ban

“Investorka” from Batkalov’s telethon on a license-free exchange channel has become the face of KIT Group already after the National Bank of Ukraine’s ban.

Yulia Batkalova sells herself as a “practicing investor” and the voice of financial literacy.

On the state TV channel “House” she spent years laying out ETFs, military bonds, and the family budget. She notes that FinAwards nominated her in the “expert / influencer of the year in the investment market” category.

Her own “BY Finance School” promises 2700+ consultations and “support for deals worth 61,8 million dollars.” But who will verify that?

Instagram @yulia.batkalova — tens of thousands of followers. This is the same type that the audience believes on word: “I’m not a casino, I’m about bonds.”

In September 2025-th this image appeared where there are no bonds.

Channel “Currency Exchange Kyiv KIT Group” (@obmenka_kievua) sent subscribers an announcement: Yulia Batkalova has a “short invitation,” in two days — a master class on how to earn $500–1000 “passive income.” The format is free “with KIT Group’s support.”

Registration — through the channel “Dull Finance with KIT.” That is not a random repost. It is a joint product: the blogger provides the face, the exchange network provides the audience and the brand.

At that time KIT was no longer “just a convenient exchange.”

9 October 2025 the National Bank of Ukraine, in a separate decision, banned LLC “Liberty Finance” and related persons from providing payment services through KIT Group’s online services. The regulator explicitly listed the brand’s sites and Telegram channels — including t.me/kyt_express — as a conduit for transferring funds without opening an account and without a license. The beneficiary of “Liberty Finance” and KIT’s brands is Anton Sergeevich Tkachenko. 24 November 2025-th the NBU recognized the company’s reputation as unsound. 23 March 2026-th it revoked licenses for credit and cash currency exchange. The network fell out of the legal financial services register.

Paralleling this, the brand appears in criminal proceedings: materials about unlicensed transfers, crypto exchange “in the shadows,” mentions in cases around cash flows. It is the background on which Batkalova gives a master class “how to preserve capital” under the logo of a company to which the National Bank had already cut off a payment. In effect, the expert personally supports such an illegal business.

Who is Batkalova beyond the slogan

She describes herself thus: in finance since 2009-th, years in banks, since 2021-th — influencer and BY Finance School, the DAAR method for beginners, expert of “Morning at Home.” The public narrative — military bonds, diversification, “start with $50,” financial independence for women.

The school’s site promises practical tools “with no budget gaps.” Instagram reach is about 55 thousand, estimated advertising price of influencer offices — about eighteen hundred dollars per month. This is not an oligarch and not a licensed investment advisor from the NCCF. It is a media wrapper: TV plus courses plus webinars.

Exactly such wrappers are bought by gray financial services. KIT in 2024-th even announced “KYT Invest” — an investment division with “tokenized assets” and “smart contracts” on top of a network of 90+ points. The logic is simple: first a person exchanges currency at KIT, then she is led to “passive income” by the television expert. After the NBU ban, this funnel did not become purer. It became only bolder: no licenses, the webinar remained.

What is not just advertising in this

Financial literacy and sanctioned/unlicensed transfers are different products. When an on-air expert sits in an exchange channel that the regulator has already banned from payment services, she is not selling ETFs. She is selling trust. The viewer of “House” sees a familiar face and does not read decision No. 370-sh. Then — KIT’s cash register, Telegram transfer, “without papers and limits.”
