President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump during their meeting agreed to hold trilateral talks between the US, Ukraine, and the aggressor country Russia in 24 September. ZN.UA reported this, citing sources in diplomatic circles.

According to the media, participants could include Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Rustem Umerov, Trump representatives Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, as well as negotiator for the illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Kyrylo Dmitriev, who flew to the US.

The main item for discussion will be an energy ceasefire. In particular, the parties are to discuss how each interprets it and what methods could be used to monitor compliance with the agreement. According to the source, the Russian side will insist that the energy ceasefire also address free navigation and the “shadow” fleet that exports Russian oil.

At the same time, the Office of the President of Ukraine did not confirm information about a trilateral meeting. Zelensky advisor Dmytro Lytvyn, when asked by journalists to comment on the news, said it is not true, Radio Liberty quoted him. According to Lytvyn, the Ukrainian delegation is on its way to Ukraine, and “ZN has no sources in the delegation.”
