Monthly Supplement for Teachers in Frontline Schools Will Be Maintained

The supplement will be received by teachers from 614 schools.

Educators in frontline regions who work in-person or in a hybrid format will receive a monthly supplement of 2,6 thousand UAH. This was reported by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.

Overall such assistance is provided for 23,6 thousand teachers.

"Despite limited financial resources, the government has preserved a separate monthly supplement of 2 600 UAH for teachers in frontline territories who work in-person or in a hybrid format. It is intended for 23 600 teachers in 614 schools," the statement says.

The prime minister added that by the end of 2026 the year teachers will be paid for hours worked during the previous academic year; additional funds were reallocated for these needs.

Earlier it was reported that the government secured $841 million from the World Bank under guarantees from the Government of Canada. The funds will be directed to reimburse the state budget’s pension expenditures.
