Cars and Garages Burned: Rescuers Show the Aftermath of the Strike on Kyiv’s Obolon (photos)

During daytime 24 in September, during another strike on Kyiv, Russians launched an attack on the Obolon district of the capital. As a result of the hit, a large fire broke out in the garage boxes and cars. This is reported by «Glavkom» citing the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.

Rescuers who arrived at the scene eliminated the fire over a total area 300 square meters. The enemy strike destroyed at least 16 garage boxes, a few more were damaged.

According to preliminary data, one person was injured, who was hospitalized by medical workers even before the arrival of the DSNS units. Information about other victims and the extent of the destruction is currently being clarified.

On the scene, DSNS specialists and law enforcement officers continue to work, recording another war crime by the Russian Federation.

As a reminder, as a result of the nighttime combined attack by Russian occupiers in the night of 24 September 2026 year in Kyiv, two people were killed and eight more injured. According to law enforcement, the victims of the enemy shelling were 57-year-old woman in the Podilskyi district and 65-year-old man in Solomianskyi.
