New enemy objectives: Russians are conducting aerial reconnaissance of Kyiv hypermarkets, energy facilities, and railways

According to the popular Telegram channel 'Mykolaivskyi Vankok' (Mykolaiv's Vankok), in addition to the usual infrastructure targets, the enemy has begun to show concrete interest in large shopping venues in the capital.

Which objects exactly attract the occupiers

According to monitoring sources, recently the occupiers have been actively gathering information about a number of critical and civilian facilities in the region. Specifically, the focus of the invaders has included:

Trade infrastructure: the enemy’s reconnaissance activity has been recorded regarding large metropolitan hypermarkets.

Energy and transport: energy supply facilities, urban electric transport, as well as railway infrastructure together with traction substations.

Airfield network: profile targets both within Kyiv and in the surrounding region.

Fuel logistics: separate locations that the enemy might consider as storage sites for fuel and lubricants in various districts of Kyiv region.

However, military experts note: reconnaissance activity itself does not mean that each of the listed objects will necessarily be hit, but such maneuvers indicate preparations for new terror scenarios.

Situation with protection from reactive drones before winter

The channel author drew special attention to the problem of countering new air threats from the enemy, in particular reactive unmanned aerial vehicles. Currently, Ukraine is carrying out extensive work to create an effective system for defense against this type of weaponry.

However, the pace of deployment of such complexes does not yet allow for optimistic predictions about finishing the system and covering all needs before the onset of cold weather. Because this process is not yet complete, experts currently refrain from optimistic forecasts regarding the timeline for full protection of rear regions from new threats.
