Ajax Systems Will Support Conservation Work at the Mystetskyi Arsenal After the Russian Strike

Ajax Systems, an international technology company and the largest security systems manufacturer in Europe, will finance anti-emergency and urgent conservation works for the architectural monument of national significance the Old Arsenal, which is part of the Arts Arsenal building complex.

The monument was damaged by a Russian attack. The monument was damaged as a result of a Russian drone strike. The company’s support will help protect the damaged building from further collapse and create the necessary conditions for the next stages of restoration. 15 In June, a Russian drone hit the main building of the Arts Arsenal. The attack caused a fire that lasted for several hours. About 2000 square meters of roofing and two upper floors of the building, a part of the left wing, and panoramic windows on the third floor were damaged. Water after the fire suppression caused damage from the roof to the basement of the Old Arsenal building. The Arts Arsenal collection was secured — no artwork was harmed. At the same time, the monument of national significance itself requires lengthy conservation and restoration works. The first step was surveys: architectural-restoration, technical condition, chemical-technological — which provided a scientifically justified basis for developing the scientific-projected documentation. The next step is anti-emergency and conservation works that will protect the monument during the development of the scientific-projected documentation with detailed instrumental inspections and a restoration project.
