Everything for the Army: Kyiv City Council Deputy Lyudmyla Kovalevska urged putting politics aside to help the frontlines

Deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the European Solidarity party Lyudmyla Kovalevska emphasized that her political force is ready to support any initiatives to help the military, regardless of which party proposes them. The main priority today is to stop secondary spending and devote all possible resources to defending the country.

One enemy and a common goal: why politics is taking a back seat

During the budget committee meeting, there were many discussions about where exactly the capital's funds should be directed amid the ongoing war. The deputy clearly separated her team's position, noting that political disagreements now have no significance.

"We have one enemy — Russia. And support for the army must be above politics," Lyudmyla Kovalevska emphasized.

That is why the European Solidarity faction took the most constructive stance: they are ready to vote for any reasonable decision that truly increases help to Ukraine's Armed Forces, even if it is initiated by other political forces.
