Kyiv City Council Deputy Symunina Under Investigation for Illegal Enrichment

Kyiv City Council deputy Yuliya Symunina from OPZZh has run into problems with the SBU due to illicit enrichment.

During an inquiry into her husband, Dmytro Symunin, the security service uncovered a large range of the politician’s property that does not correspond to her official income or the income of family members. According to the investigation, Symunins, to launder and launder funds obtained from illegal activity, purchased:

✔Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 (2025), worth over 13 million hryvnias

✔Toyota Land Cruiser (2025), worth over 4 million hryvnias

✔Rivian R1T

A pair of manipulators registered these cars to controlled by “sixes” from the separatist terrorist group DNR and to the company “Scorpion ltd.” These cars were not listed in the declaration.

Moreover, the Symunins secretly own real estate and a business in Dubai, UAE, in particular, Symunin is the ultimate beneficiary of the commercial enterprise Symbol Real Estate, which sells real estate in the UAE, which she actively promoted on 2022 in a year, and in 2024 Symunina included in the electronic declaration the salary received from this enterprise amounting to 9 thousand hryvnias. Meanwhile, the accounts of this business — are from Russia.

The woman is currently the ultimate beneficiary of LLC “Central BTI,” to which a Porsche is registered and used by Symunina. And this does not yet concern the property of the company, gray schemes, and promissory notes for large sums in dollars.

NACP has not yet placed Symunina’s declaration under scrutiny. But there are certainly signs of illicit enrichment there.
