A Russian drone struck an administrative building in Ternopil: photos of the aftermath

The occupiers attacked the city’s railway.

Russian troops on the night to Wednesday, 14 October, attacked Ternopil with kamikaze drones and hit an administrative building, causing a strong fire. Firefighters fought the blaze for two hours, said Taras Pastukh, the head of the Ternopil Oblast Military Administration.

Later he reported that in the regional center the Russians struck a transportation infrastructure object. This facility sustained damage. Specialists are currently assessing the extent of the damage.

Fortunately, there were no injuries or deaths.

Oleksandr Pershkovskyi, the head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), stated that overnight the RF army massively attacked railway infrastructure with missiles and drones not only in Ternopil but also in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, and Kharkiv regions. Stations, repair facilities, and locomotive depots were damaged. As a result of the attack, dozens of trains are today running with delays, some by more than ten hours.
