The legendary Louvre in Paris is facing major problems. The director of the museum, Christophe Girard, spoke about them.
He said: “If the Louvre is not repaired, modernized, and transformed, it will very quickly lose its status and will ultimately be forced to close its doors to the public.” It is emphasized: “The museum is not just in very poor condition, but is also completely overloaded.”
It is noted that, unfortunately, the Louvre pyramid can no longer accommodate nine million visitors, and the popularity of the Mona Lisa paralyzes the Denon Wing where it is exhibited. Earlier there was a robbery at the Louvre in Paris.
