Controversial Head of the MIA Service Center in Obukhiv, Chyzh, Has Left His Position

The controversial head of the State Tax Service Center (MVS) No. 3244 in Obukhiv, Serhiy Chyz, submitted a declaration upon leaving his post.

The official officially resigned at the beginning of October. In his declaration, he confirmed the presence of substantial land assets, several vehicles (including a Range Rover), and cash totaling over 1,5 million hryvnias, with an official salary during this period of 560,6 thousand hryvnias.

The most notable holdings are property in the village of Savyn, Kozelska hromada of Chernihiv district, registered 18 December 2025 year. Chyz declared a residential house with an area of 97,7 square meters (owned) and eight land plots with a total area over 4 hectares. Five plots are co-owned (75% in Chyz, 25% in Volodymyr Mykhailovych Chyz), three are entirely in his name. The value of this property is not disclosed in the declaration, nor are the expenditures on its acquisition.

Serhiy Chyz previously headed the TSC in Brovary and, after public materials about his family’s wealth (notably his daughter Angelina’s wedding at the InterContinental), moved to a position in Obukhiv.

The daughter of the “modest” head of the TSC MVS in Obukhiv, Serhiy Chyz, owns assets worth millions of hryvnias, but nearly does not receive a salary and is married to a unemployed person.
