“For us, it was important that POWER PLACE CUP would be not just another tournament, but a real sporting event. Thanks to Oleksiy Yurenko’s support, we managed to implement multimedia arena design, broadcast the bouts on large screens, and make the awards ceremony special. We wanted to give children and parents new experiences and show what modern children’s sports can be,” Pavlo Dubitsky said.
At the same time, the organizer drew attention to the problems facing children’s sports sections in Ukraine.
“There are many capable children in Ukraine who want to take up sports and achieve results. Among them are many children whose parents are internally displaced. But not every family can afford gear or paying for lessons. Sports schools also need equipment and proper training conditions. Therefore, support from partners and patrons for the development of children’s sports is extremely important,” Pavlo Dubitsky noted.
