A trilateral meeting is planned for 10 and 11 in November in Abu Dhabi

France and other European countries will be represented at the next round of negotiations to end Russia's war against Ukraine. This was reported by France's Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, according to Glavcom citing RTL.

According to him, European representatives will participate in trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia, which are due to take place 10–11 in November in Abu Dhabi. At the same time Barro did not specify who would represent France.

“ Europeans will be well represented, and France will be in Abu Dhabi to participate in these discussions. I cannot yet say who will represent France this time, but they will certainly be there,” the minister said.

He emphasized that European countries cannot stay on the sidelines of negotiations concerning the future of the continent. According to Barro, France intends to convey Europe’s position to the participants at the meeting.

“In recent weeks, Europeans have voiced their opinion to the American mediator, saying that no discussion about the continent's future can ignore our expectations and demands,” said the head of the French Foreign Ministry.

The trilateral meeting of Ukraine, the United States, and Russia will take place 10–11 in November in Abu Dhabi under the mediation of the American side. Among the topics planned for discussion are a possible energy truce, security of shipping in the Black Sea, humanitarian issues, and a prisoner exchange.

As a reminder, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha outlined the principles Kyiv will adhere to ahead of the next round of peace talks. Among them are the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as the right of the state to independently develop its defense capabilities.
