The brothers' company is under sanctions, and its director holds a Russian passport

On September 2, 2024, by the decree of the President, the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions on the Astion brothers' "Amaltea": suspension of activities, prohibition on privatization, leasing of state property and land purchase. The company director, Serhiy Rybachok, received personal sanctions for 10 years — and, according to registry data, holds dual citizenship of Ukraine and the Russian Federation. There are no personal suspicions against Yevhen himself, and the most high-profile cases (Forest Gump bail, Republic shopping mall) concern his brother. But the surname is the same, the business is joint, and the sanctions trail now affects both.
