Yatsenko Volodymyr Anatoliyovych
Ukrainian businessman
Ukrainian economist, banker
Chairman of PrivatBank and the fund withdrawal scheme
Oleksandr Dubilet was the chairman of PrivatBank from 1997 to 2016. He led the bank's credit committee — the body responsible for approving all credit agreements through which over 1.9 billion USD was withdrawn from the bank.
Three NABU cases — billions each
According to the investigation, shortly before nationalization, top officials led by Dubilet, using forged documents and fictitious lending, embezzled 315 million USD (8.2 billion UAH) through the company Claresholm Marketing Ltd.
Separately, there is suspicion of embezzling 136 million UAH through an insurance payout scheme. Another case concerns the misappropriation of 9.2 billion UAH together with Kolomoisky, where in June 2024 the appellate chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) refused to cancel the suspicion.
Search, arrest, Israel, assets
In March 2021, NABU declared Dubilet wanted. He stated that he is an Israeli citizen, lives there, and is not hiding from the investigation. Simultaneously, he tried through the courts to compel the Ministry of Internal Affairs to remove information about him from the wanted persons register.
On April 9, 2026, the HACC granted the prosecutor's request for extradition. Dubilet participated remotely in the hearing and said that the prosecutor "confused the court with a circus show."
After nationalization, Dubilet together with his son Dmytro and other top managers founded Monobank. In February 2021, after receiving suspicion from NABU, he re-registered his 33.74% stake to his son Oleksiy.
