Mayor of Chornomorsk — land schemes that led him to volunteer for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
People's Deputy of the VIII convocation (2014–2019), since 2020 — mayor of Chornomorsk, Odesa region, nominated by the "For the Future" party. During his time as village head in Molodizhne, he signed documents transferring the land of the Ministry of Defense's "Yuvileina" recreation base into communal ownership, which was later divided into share plots and transferred to private individuals. Similarly, several plots in the same village became owned by persons connected with Huliaiev himself.
Millions in cash, Breguet and Hublot watches, and a rented apartment in Spain
The 2021 declaration recorded the Huliaiev couple holding hundreds of thousands of dollars and euros in cash, as well as two Swiss watches — a Breguet for the mayor and a Hublot for his wife; additionally, assets in precious metals worth 230 thousand UAH. According to declarations, Huliaiev's daughters rent an apartment in Spain; the mayor himself rents a one-hectare plot and a house in the village of Molodizhne, where he once served as village head. In 2025, his wife disappeared from the family members list in the declaration along with the previously declared apartment. In spring 2026, despite being above conscription age, he enlisted as a volunteer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
