"Tender Mafia" and Vote Against NABU

MP from "Servant of the People" Pavlo Yakymenko in September 2020 was included in the so-called "tender mafia" — a group of deputies attempting to pass a bill on mandatory animal registration through private intermediaries. The goal was simple: to divert part of the state funds through front companies. In July 2025, Yakymenko voted for bill No. 12414 — which subordinated NABU and SAP to the Prosecutor General and effectively destroyed the independence of anti-corruption agencies.

Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus, and BMW with Zero Salary

According to declarations, Yakymenko's family drives a Toyota Land Cruiser, Lexus, and BMW X5. Also declared are expensive watches and jewelry from luxury brands. Cash in declarations exceeds 5 million hryvnias. The official income of the MP is parliamentary salary. Due to absences in March 2020, he was even deprived of this salary.

Real Estate and Corporate Rights Without Explanation

Yakymenko owns 100% of LLC "Venice-1", 50% each in "Kharkivnerudprom" and "OVB", and 25% in "Alta Center." His wife earns 1.4 million hryvnias per year — sources not detailed in the declaration. Non-residential premises of 648.7 m², two unfinished apartments, and four land plots near Kharkiv. Cash assets in the declaration exceed the family's total income by more than 10 times.

Absentee on State Salary

In March 2020, Yakymenko was deprived of his deputy salary due to systematic absences from Verkhovna Rada sessions. A member of the Committee on Environmental Policy and chair of the subcommittee on subsoil protection — a person controlling oil, gas, and mining issues — he is also an owner of shares in companies operating in those fields. Conflict of interest is declared by the business but not by the deputy himself.
