Deputy of the Dnipro City Council, leader of "Civic Power" and criminal past of the 1990s

A deputy of the Dnipro City Council for several convocations, leader of the party and NGO "Civic Power." In the 1990s, he officially headed the association of entrepreneurs in Dnipropetrovsk, but according to the journalist from "Obozrevatel," he was also involved in racketeering and debt collection activities; police reports listed him as a "member of a criminal group." Several media outlets claimed he was part of the "Mukhtar" organized crime group and after the group's leader was killed, he became the leader; later, he changed his name to Zahid and took his wife's surname. All public accusations have not been confirmed by court verdicts. In 2012, he was arrested in connection with a fatal traffic accident from 2008 (Krasnov's Porsche hit a car, and the driver died); he was released on a written pledge, and the case was closed "due to lack of a crime."

An apartment on the French Riviera and transferring millions through Montenegro during the full-scale war

Krasnov's wife in 2023 purchased an apartment in France worth over 16 million UAH; the family declares a total of 26 properties. The 2025 declaration shows a radical change: accounts in three countries, an apartment on the French Riviera, and over 40 million UAH in assets outside Ukraine — whereas until 2021 the family had no foreign accounts at all. In November 2025, the deputy declared a monetary gift to someone in Montenegro worth 24.2 million UAH and asset sales through a Montenegrin bank of 69 million UAH.
