NABU/SAP handed suspicion of embezzling UAH 11.4 million, and DBR — misuse of public funds for entertainment
In February 2024, NABU and SAP informed Kravtsov of suspicion in a case of embezzlement of UAH 11.4 million from Ukrzaliznytsia: the investigation identified an organized group of Ukrzaliznytsia officials and entrepreneurs. Separately, DBR opened a criminal proceeding dated December 27, 2019 under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power): Kravtsov and the chairman of the Supervisory Board Adzhuner were accused of spending public funds on trips aboard an official vessel with catering costing over UAH 200,000, purchasing premium cigars and alcohol — a single "voyage" cost Ukrzaliznytsia approximately UAH 500,000.
