Well-known Chernihiv agribusinessman, philanthropist, and local politician
Since 2010, Kiyanovsky has continuously held the position of deputy of the Chernihiv Regional Council (currently representing the "Native Home" party) and heads the specialized standing commission on agro-industrial complex, ecology, natural resources, and land relations. Born on October 30, 1957, he graduated in 1982 from the Ternopil Financial and Economic Institute with a degree in "Economist-Accountant." Kiyanovsky built a powerful agricultural empire in the Chernihiv region: he is the founder and beneficiary of the holding company "Dairy World," as well as the head of major enterprises including LLC "Ichnianske," "Ichnianske Dry Milk and Butter Plant," and STOV "Krupychpilskoye." For his significant contribution to the region's development, he received the title of "Honored Worker of Industry of Ukraine" and the status of honorary citizen of the city of Ichnya.
Conflict of interests, corruption schemes, and shadow connections surrounding the deputy’s business empire
Journalists have discovered that the land commission of the regional council, which he chairs, has for years made decisions benefiting his own companies. His firm LLC "Ichnianske" holds over 4,600 land plots, and his wife Olga owns more than 300 plots. His businesses appear in criminal cases related to fraud and illegal land seizure, including the high-profile case involving the withdrawal of $21.2 million in foreign investments through the "Zernotrading" project and the "Rostok-Holding" group (in which Kiyanovsky had a share until 2020), as well as the removal of blocked grain from the ARMA agency via LLC "Kombikormnyk." Furthermore, investigators found that "Ichnianske Dry Milk Plant" conducted direct exports to the Russian Federation after 2014, and his enterprises purchased Russian "Lada" vehicles. A separate scandal was caused by the family's elite car fleet valued at over 12 million hryvnias (including premium BMW 5 Series cars and Chinese BYD Leopard 3 electric crossovers from 2025) amid the decline of the villages around Ichnya, where the subject massively leases land.
