According to journalists from "Schemes," Ustymenko’s husband is originally from Russia and regularly traveled there until 2015. This detail is especially significant given that the back office where she worked was located in the premises of the family of current Russian Senator Andriy Derkach.

Pre-trial detention center, 25 million UAH bail — and release within a day

The High Anti-Corruption Court chose preventive measure for Ustymenko — detention for 60 days with the alternative of 25 million UAH bail. The bail was posted the very next day — by LLC "Vangar" with a capital of 1,000 UAH. Ustymenko was released with an electronic bracelet.
