Mankovskyi Heorhiy Borysovych

Renowned Ukrainian cardiologist of the highest category, interventional cardiac surgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Honored Doctor of Ukraine.

Born in Kyiv into a famous medical dynasty. Since January 12, 2026, he has held the position of General Director of the State Institution "Center of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" (formerly known as the Children's Cardiac Center). Mankovskyi actively performs surgeries and engages in scientific activities.

In May 2026, a loud reputational scandal erupted around the newly appointed General Director. The media (including "Kommersant Ukrainian" and analysts from the NGO "Stop Corruption") published data from his official declarations, which revealed the rapid enrichment of the doctor's family during the full-scale war. The greatest public outrage was caused by information about the purchase of four luxury Mercedes cars (three of which are 2024 models), with a total declared value by the head of the state institution exceeding 23 million hryvnias. The doctor's official annual salary, meanwhile, was slightly over 1 million hryvnias.

Millionaire wife's assets and "cottage" issues

Besides the luxury car fleet, journalists found in Mankovskyi's declaration the use of a capital city apartment measuring 292.3 sq. m and valued at over 30 million UAH, officially registered to his wife. The woman, who works as a sole proprietor in public opinion polling with a declared annual income of 8.4 million UAH, also owns other apartments, a vacation house, and subleases land in the elite cottage community "Riverside Family Club," which is involved in land court disputes. Investigators drew attention to the family's suspicious million-hryvnia income from a company with a charter capital of 1000 UAH, which caused significant public resonance during the audit materials review.
